Campaign for Excellence in Grants Management

March 2017

The Campaign for Excellence in Grants Management was a three-year strategic and financial plan to move grants management and the overall field of philanthropy to higher levels of performance.  The expanded programming, staffing and systems made possible with Campaign support will accelerate and deepen the knowledge base of grants management professionals and help grantmakers deliver more resources directly to mission-driven activities, leading to better outcomes for grantmakers and the nonprofits they fund.

“We believe strong grantmaking practice is integral to creating successful outcomes across all of what we do. We’re pleased to see GMN take the lead in helping to build and elevate the profession as the field moves beyond compliance to a greater focus on data, information, and knowledge. With an increase in transparency and collaboration among grantmakers, we believe there will be far better results for the individuals and communities at the center of our work.” Darren Walker, President, Ford Foundation

The Campaign is coming to a close in 2017;  PEAK Grantmaking would like to thank the following philanthropies for their leadership, important support and commitment to the sector:
