97 percent of GMN’s Volunteers would encourage a colleague to volunteer. Powerful proof of what volunteering can mean.
Working with GMN’s volunteers is not only an opportunity to see dedication and commitment at work every day, but you experience what it means to have an unselfish desire to help others. The amount of work and support they provide toward achieving GMN’s goals on a national and regional level is nothing short of outstanding and rewarding. Every year nearly 200 member volunteers give freely of their talent and time to make the network a resounding success. These volunteers represent the mirror image of what it means to give back to a cause greater than one individual and to help others achieve goals that benefit the world of philanthropy. In fact, many of GMN’s volunteers serve for two or more years in leadership roles and help to inspire and develop the next generation of volunteers.
In honor of National Volunteer Week, we want to recognize the outstanding leadership and involvement of our member volunteers throughout the Network. For this commitment, we simply say thanks for all you do for GMN and the profession. It is both an honor and joy to work with such great people who so freely give their support and contribute to the work of GMN in so many ways.
GMN’s volunteers are the best in class!
