TBP - Top Three Blog Requests

The Big Picture: Your Top Three Blog Post Requests

For more information, see the first blog in this series.

First and foremost, I want to apologize for taking a five month hiatus before writing the next post! Many of you know grants managers wear many hats and my communications hat was in full gear as The Tow Foundation redesigned and migrated to a new website and I hope you understand my silence and enjoyed summer!

I also want to thank everyone for reading the first post in The Big Picture blog series and filling out the survey! The feedback you provided in the survey and comments section was extremely helpful. Here are your results:

Throughout the fall, I will be incorporating and addressing the top three survey answers:

  • What others wish they had known before migrating.
  • How do we even know whether or not we have the best GM system?
  • What are the best practices for migrating to a new system?

In the meantime, here is a teaser of the upcoming blog posts for this series to be posted in the next month or so:

  • 3 Questions You Should Answer Before Migrating To A New System
  • Part I: How Clean Is Your Data?
  • Part II: Not All Data Is Created Equal

Remember this is our blog! I strongly encourage you let me know if I missed something, comment, ask questions, push back or suggest topics in the comments section below or tweet @grantsmanagers. I will use your feedback to guide and cultivate this series.

Also, did you just migrate to a new GMS system and have a story to share?  We welcome any guests who are willing to share their rationale, challenges, processes or experience in The Big Picture series. Please contact npowell@gmnetwork.org to share your story.
