Building Your Grants Management Handbook (PEAK Northeast)

Codifying grants management policies, procedures, and day-to-day operations is integral to keeping the ship steady through uncertain times. If the knowledge we acquire lives only within us, our foundations’ operational well-being and opportunities for growth are at risk. Here, we will outline the grants management handbook-building journey from the perspective of two private foundations tasked with creating this infrastructure. We will discuss the who, what, and why of this process, covering unique challenges at various stages. Jewish Foundation for Education of Women’s Amanda Lefer and The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Irene Williams will share what they’ve learned so far and open the chat to questions and suggestions from their peers.
