Collecting Demographic Data (PEAK Northeast)
Collecting demographic data is about more than asking about identity—it’s about creating a fuller picture that can lead to understanding, inclusion, and representation. Demographic data is also about who holds power and who doesn’t. Join us to hear how The Commonwealth Fund is collecting and using demographic information to drive learning in the context of its Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Pledge. After They share their approach, we’ll have time for questions and discussion within the context of the growing sector-wide movement to use this information to promote transparency, diversity, and a more complete picture of nonprofits working to create social change.
