Wraparound: Supporting nonprofits across multiple programs

Nonprofits are asking funders for stable support across programs that strengthens the organization, staff, and communities, and for practices that build relationships of mutual learning and support. The San Antonio Area Foundation supports a regional nonprofit sector with multiyear general operating grants, staff development, and capacity building. Many grantees access multiple modes of support, benefiting from and contributing to multiple programs simultaneously. This approach was developed through conversations with nonprofits, and the session brings them into conversation to explore their experience working with multiple programs from a single funder, and where funders can push further in support of strong nonprofits.
