Annual Convening
Funders Against Burnout Jobs
Organization Members Only
Too many nonprofit jobs involve hardships for staff. Low pay, missing benefits, long hours, and lack of promotion opportunities lead to high turn-over. What’s more, entry-level staff, who are predominantly people of color and women, don’t see opportunities to advance their careers in this space.
How can funders play a role in raising job standards in the nonprofit sector?
In this session, participants will learn to audit their foundations’ practices that may promote or impede equitable and livable staff jobs at grantee organizations. You will leave with concrete next steps for moving their organization towards supporting fair compensation in the nonprofit sector.
