Kelli Rojas

Chief Operating Officer  |  Rose Community Foundation


Kelli Rojas (she, her, hers) is the Chief Operating Officer at Rose Community Foundation, which advances equity, justice, inclusion, and engagement for greater Denver’s communities. In her role, she partners with the president and CEO on strategy development and leads a variety of projects and initiatives, including Rose’s grantmaking operations, learning and evaluation efforts, and fiscal sponsorship program. Rojas joined Rose in 2017 and held several positions in grants management and operations. She previously worked in corporate philanthropy and the local nonprofit sector.

Rojas has been involved with PEAK Grantmaking since 2015 as a member, community-of-practice participant, cochair of the PEAK Rocky Mountain chapter, and cochair of the 2019 annual convening. She believes deeply in aligning strategy and operations to values and in the importance of incorporating feedback to improve philanthropy’s ability to effectively serve communities. In 2022, she was named a Feedback Champion by Feedback Labs and the Fund for Shared Insight. Rojas has held a number of lay leadership roles locally and currently serves on the board of The Village Institute. She earned a master’s degree in international development and nonprofit management, as well as bachelor’s degrees in international studies and Spanish from the University of Denver.
