Kyrstin Thorson Rogers
Director of Grants Management | Proteus Fund and Proteus Action League
Kyrstin Thorson Rogers (she/her) is the Director of Grants Management for Proteus Fund and Proteus Action League. She joined Proteus in 2014 with a background in international development, grantmaking, and nonprofit administrative and programmatic roles. Kyrstin started at Proteus as the grants and operations assistant and has grown over the past nine years in her roles and responsibility to directing the grants management department. She currently oversees the grantmaking for Proteus’ donor collaboratives, donor advised funds, and grantmaking fiscally sponsored projects and is a strategic thought-partner with program staff and grantees in order to ensure a smooth process for all.
Prior to joining Proteus, Kyrstin pursued her master’s degree in international policy studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Kyrstin also holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Middle Eastern and African studies from the University of San Francisco. Kyrstin is a queer nerd with a passion for social justice and lives with her spouse and two dogs in Taos, NM.
