Community Conversation | Racial Equity in Grantmaking Practice

As we have collectively watched the murder of George Floyd by police and the resulting uprising, we see that many communities are grappling with the ways in which white supremacy and systemic racism have shaped the world we live in. What is the role of philanthropy, and grants management professionals in particular, in addressing racial justice? How can we grow our own personal and professional equity practice?

We know many in the PEAK community are continuing to think about what role they can and should play in the response. We invite members to join us for an open forum. We are here for you to hold space, process, and share all the ways we can support and care for ourselves, our peers, our grantee partners, and our communities in this moment.

This will be a virtual facilitated discussion with an opportunity to engage in small group discussions.

When registering, please share any specific questions you’d like us to cover.
