Justice and Inclusion in Grantmaking Practice (PEAK Northeast)
If we were to design the grantmaking process to contribute to a more just and equitable world, what would that look like? How can we lead from our seats?
Join us for this collaborative session where we will explore specific types of grantmaking practices that support—or hinder—equity. Through listening, open discussion, and breakout sessions, we’ll work through a design-thinking exercise to help us lead change inside our own organizations. In addition, we will learn practices that support more equitable grantmaking, understand organizational barriers to change, and explore the next steps for working toward greater alignment between grantmaking practices and the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
