Walk the Wellbeing Walk in Philanthropic Workplace Culture (PEAK Florida)

An important priority for many grantmaking institutions is “community wellbeing.” With it comes funding that ensures nonprofits can promote care, equity, and sustainability in the communities they serve. But how often do we examine whether those same commitments are reflected inside our own organizations?

This interactive session invites philanthropy professionals to explore the connection between internal culture and external impact. Even in coveted philanthropic roles, many staff still operate in high-pressure, scarcity-driven environments. Walking the wellbeing walk means aligning internal practices with the values we champion in our grantmaking—ensuring that wellbeing is accessible for all of us who are in helping professions.

Our conversation will explore how workplace norms, leadership behaviors, and operational expectations either reinforce or undermine wellbeing within philanthropy. Join us for some time for reflection and meaningful discussion. You’ll take away practical shifts that can strengthen wellbeing for you and your peers.
