Tanisha Davis

Tanisha Davis is vice president of grant operations and planning at Archstone Foundation. She has extensive programmatic, grants management, systems administration, and payout planning experience. In her role, Davis provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to Archstone’s grantmaking operations and is responsible for the development and implementation of systems and procedures that facilitate an efficient, effective, and equitable grantmaking process. She also serves as cochair of Archstone’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee and as secretary of the board of directors.

Davis holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in information systems from California State University, Fullerton, and a master’s degree from the University of Southern California Davis School of Gerontology. She has been involved with several professional associations within the philanthropic sector. Davis was a 2022–2023 fellow of the Grantmakers for Effective Organizations’ Change Leaders in Philanthropy cohort; participated as a mentor in the inaugural 2022 American Society on Aging RISE program; was a member of the 2021 Technology Association of Grantmakers Emerging Leaders cohort; and is a longtime member and champion of PEAK Grantmaking. In addition to currently serving as the PEAK Southern California chapter’s membership chair and previously serving as chapter chair, Davis cochaired the PEAK DEI Learning and Support Community of Practice and cochaired the PEAK2023 Planning Committee.

Tanisha’s term expires in 2027.
