PEAK Volunteer Board 

As a member-led, member-driven organization, we live our values by providing more than 200 opportunities each year for members and partners to contribute as volunteers – helping to build our collective expertise in implementing effective, equitable grantmaking practices.

COMMITTEES, ADVISORY & WORKING GROUPS

PEAK2022 Conference Committee
Openings: 15 | Commitment runs June 2021 – March 2022

This group of volunteers will help to plan and implement PEAK2022 New Orleans. The committee will meet as a full group in June, August, October, and December 2021, and in January, and February 2022. This committee is responsible for helping to identify conference speakers, including keynotes and breakouts, planning social activities, and being available on-site to support attendees.

Competency Model Advisory Group
Openings: 10 | July 2021 – December 2021

This group of volunteers will support staff as we work to refresh the Grants Management Professional Competency Model in light of the equity work we’ve done in the past three years since its initial release. This advisory group will meet bi-monthly between July and December 2021 to provide input and guidance on the revision process and its use and positioning in the field going forward.

Principles Working Group: Learn, Share, Evolve
Openings: 10 | July 2021 – December 2021

This group of volunteers will support staff in the release of its final foundational set of Principles resources. This working group will meet bi-monthly between July 2021 – December 2021 to help shape the recommendations, guidance, and practical tools our members need to apply an equity lens to their grant reporting, evaluation, and learning efforts.

 


CHAPTERS

PEAK Delaware Valley Communications Chair
Openings: 1  |  January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Delaware Valley volunteer leadership team to ensure existing members know about chapter meetings and to attract new members to PEAK by creatively promoting chapter opportunities to non-members. Time commitment is 4-5 hours per month. Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Delaware Valley Program Chair
Openings: 1  |  January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Delaware Valley volunteer leadership team to develop and co-facilitate engaging program content for PEAK chapter meetings and serves on the chapter leadership team. Time commitment is 4-5 hours per month. Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Florida Vice Chair
Openings: 1  |  January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Florida Chapter chair in co-leading the PEAK chapter by guiding, supporting, and overseeing the work of chapter officers. Vice Chair acts as a mentee to the Chapter Chair in preparation to serve as future Chapter Chair. Time commitment is 4-5 hours per month. Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Florida Communications Chair

Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Northern California Program Chair
Openings: 1  |  January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Northern California volunteer leadership team to develop and co-facilitate engaging program content for PEAK chapter meetings and serves on the chapter leadership team.
