PEAK Volunteer Board 

As a member-led, member-driven organization, we live our values by providing more than 200 opportunities each year for members and partners to contribute as volunteers – helping to build our collective expertise in implementing effective, equitable grantmaking practices.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE

PEAK 2021 Online On-Site Volunteers  
Openings: 20 | Term: May 3 -14, 2020

Roundtable Facilitators, Happy Hour networking hosts, New Member Ambassadors. Time commitment is 4-5 hours including prep and implementation. All current PEAK members are eligible.

 


AFFINITY GROUPS & CAUCUSES

Corporate Grantmakers Affinity Group Co-Chair  
Openings: 2 | Term: March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022

Lead the development and implementation of at least two networking and idea-sharing opportunities each year and foster community amongst members. Time commitment is 1-3 hours per month. Current members who work in corporate grantmaking are eligible.

Learning and Support for Allies Affinity Group Co-Chair  
Openings: 3 | Term: March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022

Lead the development and implementation of at least two networking and idea-sharing opportunities each year and foster community amongst members. Time commitment is 1-3 hours per month. All current PEAK members are eligible.

PEAK Black Members Caucus Co-Chair  
Openings: 2 | Term:March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022

Lead the development and implementation of at least two networking and idea-sharing opportunities each year and foster community amongst members. Time commitment is 1-3 hours per month. Current PEAK members who identify as Black are eligible.

PEAK Latino, Latina, and Latinx Members Caucus Co-Chair  
Openings: 3 | Term: March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022

Lead the development and implementation of at least two networking and idea-sharing opportunities each year and foster community amongst members. Time commitment is 1-3 hours per month. Current PEAK members who identify as Latino, Latina, or Latinx are eligible.

 


CHAPTERS

PEAK Delaware Valley Communications Chair
Openings: 1 | Term: January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Delaware Valley volunteer leadership team to ensure existing members know about chapter meetings and to attract new members to PEAK by creatively promoting chapter opportunities to non-members. Time commitment is 4-5 hours per month. Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Delaware Valley Program Chair
Openings: 1 | Term: January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Delaware Valley volunteer leadership team to develop and co-facilitate engaging program content for PEAK chapter meetings and serves on the chapter leadership team. Time commitment is 4-5 hours per month. Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Florida Vice Chair
Openings: 1 | Term: January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Florida Chapter chair in co-leading the PEAK chapter by guiding, supporting, and overseeing the work of chapter officers. Vice Chair acts as a mentee to the Chapter Chair in preparation to serve as future Chapter Chair. Time commitment is 4-5 hours per month. Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Florida Communications Chair
Openings: 1 | Term: January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. Consultant members are eligible to participate on chapter committees but may not serve as a chapter officer.

PEAK Northern California Program Chair
Openings: 1 | Term: January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2022

Work collaboratively with the PEAK Northern California volunteer leadership team to develop and co-facilitate engaging program content for PEAK chapter meetings and serves on the chapter leadership team. Time commitment is 4-5 hours per month. Current PEAK members from the region are eligible. COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE

Equitable Practices Community of Practice Co-Chairs   
Openings: 3 | Term: March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022

Lead the development and implementation of at least four virtual community gatherings each year and foster community amongst members. Time commitment is 2-3 hours per month. Current PEAK Organization members and volunteers who helped co-create the Communities of Practice are eligible.

DEI Learning 101 Community of Practice Co-Chairs   
Openings: 4 | Term: March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022

Lead the development and implementation of at least four virtual community gatherings each year and foster community amongst members. Time commitment is 2-3 hours per month. Current PEAK Organization Members and volunteers who helped co-create the Communities of Practice are eligible.

Tech and Data Futurists Community of Practice Co-Chairs   
Openings: 4 | Term: March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022

Lead the development and implementation of at least four virtual community gatherings each year and foster community amongst members. Time commitment is 2-3 hours per month. Current PEAK Organization Members and volunteers who helped co-create the Communities of Practice are eligible.

 


NATIONAL ADVISORY COUNCILS

Principles for Peak Grantmaking Working Group: Steward Responsively
Openings: 10 | Term: February 15, 2021 – June 30, 2021

Provide advice and guidance on development of resources related to Steward Responsively Principle and risk management practices. Time commitment is 1.5 hours per month. All current PEAK members are eligible.
