Annual Convening
Enabling Collaborative Impact Reporting
Organization Members Only
When the Irving Harris Foundation developed an impact-tracking framework for their grantmaking and field leadership work, they wanted to be sure it would capture collective impact in the field without overburdening grantees. Working with ChangeVantage Consulting and the nonprofit research center Child Trends, the foundation adopted a strategic, collaborative approach to developing outcomes and indicators that would be both valuable and feasible to collect. This case study highlights lessons learned while examining the methodology behind, and results of, their work to develop collaborative outcomes and indicators. This session consists of a “short talk,” followed by an unrecorded roundtable discussion.
