Approximately 18 million LGBTQ+ adults live in the United States, but for every $100 awarded by US foundations, only 28 cents support LGBTQ+ issues. Due to stigma and discrimination, LGBTQ+ people are more prone to poverty, homelessness, illness, suicide, and violence, all without the support and resources philanthropy seemingly wants to provide. Join a panel of Equality Florida staff and funders to discuss solutions, tools, and best grantmaking practices and policies that minimize bias, promote inclusion, and increase LGBTQ+ equitable giving within your institution.
