Strengthening Grassroots Organizations Through Trust-Based Capacity Building
Organization Members Only
Grassroots organizations, especially those led by and serving communities of color, are highly resource constrained and find it difficult to access capacity-building support that suits their needs. Trust-based capacity building is centered on being responsive to the mission-facing and back-office needs of grassroots nonprofits by meeting them where they are. This roundtable will explore unique strategies place-based funders are deploying to drive systemic change by enabling support beyond the grant, customized for Black-, Indigenous-, and people-of-color-led grassroots organizations—all in pursuit of strengthening marginalized communities.
