As PEAK Grantmaking’s Chapter Specialist, Dionne (she, her, hers) supports the operations of 14 chapters across the United States which offer opportunities for members to connect and learn closer to home. She communicates PEAK’s strategy and expectations to the chapter volunteers and trains volunteers in effective practices to run chapters and recruit and manage volunteer teams to help them become successful.
Dionne brings 20+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Before joining PEAK, she was the Membership Associate supporting the promotion and retention of School District cafeteria staff for the School Nutrition Association, an organization committed to advancing the quality of school meal programs through education and advocacy. Additionally, Dionne worked at the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association, helping to support the maintenance of databases across departments.
Dionne earned her degree from Strayer University in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Originally from Chicago, she has resided in the Washington DC Metro Area for 20+ years. She loves spending time with family, traveling, planning special gatherings, and being open to new adventures.
