Rachel Norman’s work as chief of staff lies at the intersection of people, strategy, and communication. Bringing over a decade of experience, Rachel’s background spans the nonprofit and education sectors with an emphasis on equity-centered policy design and implementation.
Known for her enthusiasm and “let’s get it done” attitude, Rachel coaches executives and senior leaders on transforming vision into strategy and aligned action. While quickly establishing relationships throughout an organization, she excels at breaking down silos, bridging communication gaps, and cultivating generative solutions. Prior to her time at PEAK, Rachel led policy, wide-scale programming, partnerships, and organizational strategy in New York City focused on school integration. Her youth-centered approach was anchored in her experience leading campus-wide programming at Orange Coast College focused on equity, resource allocation, and academic advising. Rachel earned her masters in education policy from Teachers College, Columbia University and her bachelors in Integrated Education Studies from Chapman University.

When she’s not overthinking the meaning of life, Rachel enjoys cooking for friends, 5-minute dance parties, reading a good book at the park, and being a freelance Auntie to those who need one.
