As associate communications director, Uche (she, her, hers) provides collaborative leadership on PEAK’s communication programs, strategies and initiatives. This includes internal communications capacity building, support for chapter and peer groups communications, and leading the department’s operations and logistics.
She has 19 years of experience working in the United States and sub-Saharan Africa for both the nonprofit and private sectors. Uche has managed all aspects of marketing and communications including brand visibility, internal communications, media relations and social media strategy.
She lives in the Atlanta metro area. When she is not at work, Uche is a fledgling gardener and coaxes her alocasias to grow, she also enjoys traveling and taking cooking classes in each new country.
