Demographic Data Collection: Five years later

In 2017 PEAK Grantmaking launched a ground-breaking effort to understand how foundations were collecting and using demographic data on the staff and leadership and constituent stakeholders of the organizations and projects foundations support. The report released in 2018 provided critical baseline data on what was at the time, isolated foundation practice. In the five years since, more and more foundations have begun to collect this data but many still wrestle with how to use it to increase impact, and drive equity. Join this session to hear about the lessons learned from these efforts, what has changed in the field and most importantly how foundations can deploy this data to strengthen impact, insight, and equity.
