Choose Your Own Adventure: Problem-Solving the Grantmaking Process through Dialogue
Organization Members Only
Bring your most pressing questions about your grantmaking process: How do you write a compelling request-for-proposal question? How do you recruit diverse evaluators? How do you build relationships to encourage reporting compliance? How do you acknowledge excellence in your grant proposals? Engage in a lively discussion with peers to stimulate creative thinking around grantmaking’s biggest challenges. This session is facilitated by three active members of Salem Oregon’s PEAK Coffee Hour group. This monthly PEAK meeting brings together grantmaking professionals to problem-solve in exactly the way we will model in this session. Since 2018, regular networking time has proven invaluable to participants in improving our grantmaking practices. Members of our learning community report increased program accessibility, a more welcoming process for new applicants and heightened support for non-served populations among other benefits.
