What is Our Responsibility to Unsuccessful Applicants?

Completing application requirements takes a median of 24 hours per application, and organizations that aren’t awarded a grant are forced to eat the associated costs. In these situations, there are ways funders can use their resources and power to offer support. In this session, we will look at these alternate means of funder support, including contributing time to support applicant capacity and training needs, making introductions to help advance an applicant’s work, amplifying the applicant’s ideas, and extending grantee benefits.
